Premier League 2025/26 Fixtures Release Date Confirmed

The Premier League has officially announced that the fixtures for the 2025/26 season will be released at 09:00 BST on Wednesday, 18 June 2025.


Key Dates for the 2025/26 Premier League Season


  • Season Start: Saturday, 16 August 2025
  • Final Match Round: Sunday, 24 May 2026 (All matches will kick off simultaneously)
  • Total Match Rounds: 33 weekends and 5 midweek rounds
  • Christmas Break: No two festive fixtures will take place within 60 hours of each other
  • No Fixtures on Christmas Eve: No matches scheduled for 24 December 2025


Season Structure and Player Rest Period


The 16 August start date provides a 83-day break following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, ensuring optimal player recovery. The 24 May end date allows the league to wrap up ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup call-up period.
