Chelsea v Tottenham - Team News and Live Updates

Chelsea will be strengthened by the return of three key players as they face Tottenham in the Premier League tonight.

Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and Nicolas Jackson have all resumed first-team training during the international break and are set to be available for selection.

Speaking on Wednesday, head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed that the trio are fully fit and ready to feature against Spurs.

Palmer was sidelined for Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal before the break due to a muscle injury, which also ruled him out of Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad. However, his return provides a significant boost for the Blues as they aim to secure a crucial result against their London rivals.

Team News

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has made four changes to the side that suffered a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal before the international break.

Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson return from injury, providing a major boost to the attack, while Noni Madueke is back on the bench after missing the last four games with a hamstring issue. Meanwhile, Reece James, Christopher Nkunku, and Benoît Badiashile drop to the bench.

Chelsea Starting XI:

Sánchez; Gusto, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernández; Palmer, Sancho, Neto; Jackson.

Subs: Jorgensen, Adarabioyo, Badiashile, Madueke, Nkunku, Dewsbury-Hall, James, George, Acheampong.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has made five changes from the side that fell 2-0 to Fulham last time out.

Defensive stability is boosted as Micky van de Ven returns from injury, while attacking stars Heung-min Son and James Maddison are also restored to the starting lineup.

Tottenham Starting XI:

Vicario; Udogie, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Bergvall, Maddison, Bentancur; Odobert, Solanke, Son.

Subs: Kinsky, Bissouma, Tel, Gray, Johnson, Porro, Sarr, Davies, Moore.

With both teams welcoming back key players, tonight's London derby promises to be a thrilling encounter.
